On 27-28 May, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, hosted the 2022 Indoor Cycling Juniors European Championships, where number of athletes represented Hungary.
As for the artistic cycling, Zsombor Beck finished ninth in the men's individual, race while Áron Marosi finished tenth - the gold medal went to Germany's Daniel Stark.
In the women's race, the crowd also applauded a German victory, with Ceyda Altug – meanwhile Anita Pöhr taking 10th place and Anna Sárközi 11th.
In the doubles' competition, Áron Marosi and Gergő Győre finished third to win the bronze medal, with the Germans Jonas Machtig and Simon Riedinger also celebrating in this event.
The girls' duo of Anna Sárközi and Anita Pöhr finished fourth, the European championship jersey going to the German pair of Lena Streit and Eva Streit.
In cycle-ball, the team of Péter Harskut, Botond Gyarmati and András Kálmán finished seventh in the continental championships, with the Germans taking the gold medal here too.
Nyíregyháza will host the 2022 elite, adult European Championship on 17-18 June!
